FAQs

  • How much racing is required? For the race team, we require a minimum of 8 mass start finishes. Larger races with over 700 riders/participants count as two races. For ambassadors, racing or participating in events is ideal, but is not a requirement as long as you are active in your cycling community and group rides.

  • What do you race? We race across many disciplines including gravel, mountain bike, cyclocross, road, ultras, and criteriums.

  • Where do you race? Most of our race team is located in Texas, more specifically around Houston. We do our best to support local races along with traveling throughout the state. Most ambassadors are located out-of-state with Kansas and Nebraska having strong ties. As a business we sponsor races out-of-state, for example, The Great Plains Gravel Cup, we target on the calendar.

  • For ambassadors, how active do I need to be on social media? We ask ambassadors to make at least 2 posts a month that contains your Cantu. Consistent content creation is a big one. Ideally, we’d like to see at least 1K followers.

  • Where are training rides and camps held? As our business is located in New Waverly, Tx (One hour north of Houston), we do most of training from this area, in and around the Sam Houston National Forest. Winter training camps have been held in Leakey, Tx and Fayetteville, Tx. More recently we’ve started hosting a summer mountain biking camp in Bentonville, Ar.

  • I don’t have wheels, when would I need to order wheels? Within 3 months of joining the team.
